As an associate of Oral Testimony Works (and previously for Panos London) I facilitated workshops in oral testimony interviewing in Ethiopia and Mozambique as part of Give Stigma the Index Finger. I trained counsellors and activists from networks of people living with HIV who then collected oral testimonies from people in their networks.
So I’m delighted to see that yesterday Oral Testimony Works launched 21 stories 21 days.
Every day from the 1st of July until the 21st of July OTW will be sharing extracts from 21 oral testimonies of 21 men and women living with HIV in Swaziland, Ethiopia and Mozambique.
OTW will share these extracts each day on its blog – with daily links on twitter and facebook.
On the 21st of July, our partner the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) will launch a publication of these testimonies at the International AIDS conference 2014.
